Statewide Data Use Committee (SDUC)

About the SDUC

The SDUC is responsible for the development and amendment of SHIN-NY SOPs that address disclosures and uses of data contained in the SHIN-NY Statewide Data Infrastructure (SDI).

The SDUC is additionally responsible for adjudicating SHIN-NY data use requests. The committee serves as subject matter experts on the contents of the SDI and the permitted purposes for which SDI data may be used, as well as prohibited uses of the data.
